Tranmere's Youth side tonight set up an FA Youth Cup third round tie away at Northampton following a 2-0 away win at Solihull Moors thanks to a brace of goals from Josh MacAuley in the second half after the first half had ended in stalemate in the Midlands.

After a two hour journey into Solihull, and an even game of football which was end to end from start to finish, Tranmere earned a 2-0 win courtesy of a brace from Josh Macauley - both of which were clinical finishes.

This win sends Rovers into the third round of the FA Youth Cup where they will play away at Northampton, who beat Cambridge to get through to the third round themselves.

GOAL! Macauley scores yet again, this time an even better finish with a rifled shot into the bottom left hand corner.

A pot shot by Ash Taylor goes straight into the hands of the keeper.

Josh MacAughley is a good player. Nice to see him scoring a couple more goals, he's in great form at the moment. All pace, power and clinical goalscorer. Best comparison I can think of is Obafembi Martins
