Caption Competition - Results
For our September Caption Competition, we showed you the picture below of airborne former Rovers striker Iain Hume in a match between Tranmere and Luton a few years ago and asked you to submit some funny captions or possible newspaper headlines to accompany the image.
Hume was of course involved in a nasty incident playing for his new Club Barnsley at the weekend when he suffered a fractured skull from which some say he could have died and we at Total Tranmere wish him a speedy recovery.
As a result of the incident we had considered delaying the results of the Caption Competition further but in he end we felt we should publish the results as a way of showing appreciation for his memorable time at Tranmere as he begins his recovery.
The picture we asked you to produce Captions for was this..............

At the moment this competition is just for fun although we at Total Tranmere have our fingers crossed that in the near future, prizes can be issued on a monthly basis for the best caption submitted each time so watch this space!
A selection of the best captions submitted are listed here with the one we judged to the best at the very end......

By Dani_trfcWell done to Dani and thanks to everyone who submitted captions last month. There were a lot of good ones and too many to publish all of them here so if we haven't published yours this time then we can only apologise and hopefully we can publish yours next time.
A new Caption picture will be revealed next week for you to start thinking again in the build up to Christmas.
