Tranmere made it three wins in six days on Friday night as they defeated Crewe Alexandra in League One to move into the play-off places overnight.
It was the second meeting between the two sides this month and Rovers came out on top once again.
Chris Shuker was again immense, assisting Jennings for the first then scoring himself.
The same eleven that defeated Cheltenham a few days before lined up once again so the team looked like this....
Coyne
Shotton, Chorley , Goodison, Taylor
Moore , Kay, Jennings , Edds, Shuker
Savage
Former Rovers player Calvin Zola started on the bench for Crewe whilst anothe ex-Rover in Chris Mccready wasn't in the sixteen man squad due to injury.
Crewe nearly took the lead in the second minute when Bryon Moore's effort was well kept out by Danny Coyne. On 14 minutes Antony Kay tried his luck from long range but it went just wide of the post.
A minute later it should have been 1-0 when Jennings put a low cross into the six yard box and Edds should have scored but instead laid it off to Savage who had an open goal but took too long with the ball and was closed down. Schumacher then shot wide at the other end.
Rovers were still having most of the chances with Kay and Moore both missing the target.
The Crewe defence then opened up as Jennings broke through but his effort was blocked by Collis before the ball fell to Moore who rounded the stranded keeper and on the turn shot into the side netting. Just before the half ended Edds shot over.
Half Time: Tranmere Rovers 0-0 Crewe Alexandra
Just six minutes into the second half Rovers took the lead, a defensive error let Shuker in and he beat two men and miss hit his shot but fortunately it fell into the path of Steve Jennings who had the easy task to tap in.
The Rovers fans were now showing their support for Jennings singing several difference songs in the hope of encouraging him to sign a new contract.

Taylor then crossed for Moore but his effort was kept out but shouldn't have been as the ball fell to Jennings who curled a lovely effort just around the post.
Shaun Miller then had two good chances for Crewe, first heading at Coyne then having a shot deflect wide.
With fifteen minutes left the game was wrapped up a long ball over the top from Goodison which was missed by Lawrence and Chris Shuker raced in, outpaced the defenders and confidently slotted home.
Edrissa Sonko and Ccharlie Barnett then replaced Edds and Shuker to freshen up the legs.
The night got worse for Crewe towards the final whistle when Sonko was sent clear and Billy Jones brought him down to receive a straight red card. Barnett curled the following free kick just wide as the game ended 2-0 to the home side.
Half Time: Tranmere Rovers 2-0 Crewe Alexandra

Chris Shuker
It was a good team performance. Chorley was fantastic at the back, Jennings was influential in the second half, but the man who stood out was again Chris Shuker. Another goal and an assist, as well as constant running and taking people on. It's great to see a confident Chris Shuker again.
