Ahead of Saturday's match at home to Millwall, Rovers striker Chris Greenacre echoed the calls of Manager Ronnie Moore for Rovers to start some form of consistency in results.

Greenacre told Tranmere World.......................

"It's nice to put the away demons behind us and get a few good away results. We had a good result against Crewe the other night and thankfully we're in the hat for the next round."

"Hopefully we can build on that confidence and take it into Saturday's game against Millwall.  They're doing well in the league, they've had a good start and they'll be difficult to beat.  But with that confidence behind us hopefully we'll be ok."

"Any time you get back to back results you want to build on them. Consistency is the biggest thing in our division.  At our level you need to keep a run going.  You always find the teams that go up are the ones who were the most consistent.  Even when they're going through a bad patch they pick results up."

How ironic these comments now seem in light of yesterdays performance!
