Ahead of Saturday's game against Oldham Athletic at Prenton Park, Rovers Boss Ronnie Moore spoke to Tranmere World: about the forthcoming game.
Moore said......
"They've started really well. John Sheridan has done a tremendous job there and he's destined for bigger things. He's a teriffic lad, he knows his football and he likes to play football."
"He likes his team to pass it, they've got some quality players and they're unbeaten in their four league games, so it won't be easy. But I like to think he won't think it will be easy either."
"They'll bring a decent crowd here, probably more than they normally do so they can come here and have a go at me. We get on really well me and their supporters!"
"I think it will be a wide open game. Hopefully we can defend well and make the most of our firepower."

"We've got no Ian Goodison, but we did win in midweek without him. We now need to do it in the league. It's a big decision for me as to who we play. The two young kids did well in midweek and Kaysy can play at the back. Ben (Chorley) was at the birth of his baby in midweek but he will be back."
If Gareth Edds is OK then we're fine, if not we're looking like we were in midweek but I've got faith in the kids, and they'll be looking forward to the challenge."
"Luke (Waterfall" is just 18, he's six foot three and he's strong and powerful. He's the old fashioned type of centre half. Nowadays there's a lot who want to play, get on the ball and pass it. He's going to be the type who ends up with a lot of stitches because he's brave. He puts his head in where it hurts. He will score goals at this level as well."
