In his Monday Press Conference, Ronnie Moore told the Official Tranmere Rovers Website of his positive selection problems prior to last Saturday's win against Hartlepool.
Moore told the Official Site......
"Having Danny back was a bonus, and Edds has recovered. I had a problem on Saturday, I had ten for the bench which is unusual. I had more problems
sorting out who was going on the bench than who was playing."
"A lot will play in midweek in the Reserve game at Morecambe. The likes of Shuker, Greenacre and all those who need games will play."
"If we are short anywhere it's defensively, but we've got a lot of players who can play in different positions. Edds can play right back, Goodison can play left back, Godwin can play centre back and Kay can play anywhere really."
"We've been 4-3-3 and we've been ambitious," he added. But there will be games where we'll be under the cosh a little bit and we have to make sure in those circumstances we play five across the midfield and make ourselves hard to beat."
"We've got pace and players who like to get forward so there's no reason we can't be a counter attacking side in some of the away games."
Speaking of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Draw which was made on Saturday Morning, Ronnie added.....
"In any cup draws you want a home tie. We'll be treating the competition with respect. It's the easiest way to Wembley for clubs at our level. Why some clubs mess around in it I don't know. We'll be giving it our full attention, that's for sure."
