Signed by Ronnie Moore following a successful trial in pre-season matches, 17 year-old Luke was released by Barnsley in the summer after coming through the youth ranks at Oakwell, taking much the same path as fellow Rovers team-mate Antony Kay.
A look-alike of former Rovers defender Clint Hill, Waterfall is a tall centre-back who looks good in the air and on the ground in equal measure and is sure to push his fellow central defenders hard for a starting place this season.www.total-tranmere.co.uk
