Tranmere have today confirmed that once again as was the case last season, all home match ticket prices will be categorised this coming season based on Police and Stewarding costs and dependant on who Rovers opponents are for each particular home match.

Tranmere Rovers will once again operate three different categories of Coca-Cola League One prices for Adults for the forthcoming 2008-09 season.

The match categories system was successfully introduced for the 2007-08 season and kept all of the Club's prices among the cheapest in League One.

Due to the increased cost of staging certain fixtures in terms of both Policing and Stewarding, four matches from the League One schedule will be Category A games as follows.....

Oldham Athletic                      Saturday 6th September - 3.00pm.
Leeds United                           Saturday 6th December - 3.00pm.
Carlisle United                        Saturday 24th January - 3.00pm.
Leicester City                          Tuesday 10th March - 7.45pm.

Four further matches will be Category C games and they are........

Cheltenham Town                    Tuesday 21st October - 7.45pm.
Brighton & Hove Albion            Saturday 20th December - 3.00pm.
Leyton Orient                           Saturday 7th February - 3.00pm.
Swindon Town                          Saturday 28th February - 3.00pm.

The remaining fifteen fixtures will be Category B at the standard matchday price and for a fan attending all the games who does not hold a season ticket, the total cost for the season will work out the same as it would all the games were at the standard (Category B) prices.

Tranmere would like to remind fans that match categories until 31st December 2008 are confirmed, while those from 1st January 2009 are still subject to change.

Admission for Juniors, Seniors and Young Persons is not affected by match categories and remains the same as announced in March 2008.

The Club will be announcing special offers on individual games, or groups of games at a later date and we will bring these to you as we get them.
