Another day saw another departure from Prenton Park yesterday as midfield assist expert Paul McLaren left the Club to sign a two-year contract at League Two side Bradford City.
Paul signed for Rovers almost exactly two years ago to the day he left in June 2006 and despite a quiet start, went on to become arguably Rovers most important player particularly last season when he was the leading goal assister in League One.

A virtual ever-present in the Rovers starting eleven since signing for the Club, McLaren played 92 games in League and Cup and was never a substitute. He netted five times during his Rovers career but few fans will deny that he will be missed in the centre of the midfield next season.
McLaren is the eighth player to leave the club this summer following Robbie Stockdale, John Mullin, Mike Jones and Michael Johnston who were released, Calvin Zola who joined Crewe last week for £200,000, Steve Davies who has joined Derby County and Shane Sherriff who has joined another League Two side in the shape of Shrewsbury Town.
Total Tranmere would like to wish Paul McLaren all the best at Bradford and thank him for his time with Tranmere which will be remembered fondly by many.
