Best or Worst Poll Series Number 1 - Results
By Deadly Submarine
May 28 2008
Following the launch of our newest Site Poll yesterday, we are now able to announce the results of the first poll in our summer series in which we asked you who was the worst Rovers goalkeeper out of Gavin Ward and Steve Wilson – a tough choice for many it would appear.

Best or Worst Poll Series Number 1 - Results

For the last fortnight, you have been voting in our latest site poll in which we asked the question "Who was Worse?  Gavin Ward or Steve Wilson" and the results were not as close in the end as first thought.

The results were as follows............

Question: Who Was Worse? Ward or Wilson?

Gavin Ward

36.51%

Steve Wilson

63.49%

Number of votes: 63
Close

As you can see, just over two thirds of the 63 voters thought that of the two Keepers, Steve Wilson was the worst but that seems a little harsh on a Player who hardly had a chance to make an impression in a Rovers shirt compared to Ward who was Number One keeper during his one season at the Club.

Wilson, Steve

Wilson was Voted the Worst

The fans have spoken though and clearly the fans who thought Ward was the worst are smaller in number to those who thought Wilson was.

Our latest Site Poll which we launched yesterday and which will run for the next two weeks asks "Which Match was Better? The League Cup Final of 2000 or the semi-final 2nd leg Win over Bolton Wanderers?".

The poll can be found on every page of this website, usually at the bottom of the left hand navigation menu so don't forget to cast your vote soon!

Thanks to everyone who voted in this last poll!
