Best or Worst Poll Series Number 2 (Wembley 2000)
By Deadly Submarine
May 27 2008
It’s time once again for another of our ‘Best or Worst’ Polls which is our new themed series to keep us debating over the summer and pre-season months. This fortnight we are asking you to vote for the Best out of two classic Rovers matches from the same season.

Best or Worst Poll Series Number 2 (Wembley 2000)

Over the summer, to keep the site ticking over amidst the rumour and speculation which is sure to surface time and time again, we are running a series of fortnight long polls on the Site which is titled ‘The Best or Worst'.

Each fortnight, we will pose a question with two answers and ask either which answer is the best or which is the worst (depending on the topic) before bringing you the results of each poll after fourteen days as well as launching the next poll in the series.

As well as enabling you to vote in the poll each fortnight, we also hope that the questions that we pose each time will spark some debate on our Message Board as people explain who they have voted for and why in each different category.

In our first poll of the summer series which has run for the past two weeks, we asked you the question ‘Who is the Worst Rovers Keeper out of Gavin Ward and Steve Wilson' and we will bring you the results of that poll tomorrow morning.

In the meantime, it's time to launch our second poll of the series which will run for the next two weeks of the summer and this time we ask to you to vote for a ‘Best' rather than a worst as we ask ‘Which was Better - The League Cup Semi-Final Second Leg v Bolton OR The Final Vs Leicester?'.

Once again the poll is designed to keep some form of debate going on our Message Forum during what is traditionally a quiet time of the year in the close season so don't take the debate too seriously but let's discuss the finer points of both games mentioned!

The results of this poll will be announced two weeks tomorrow (Wednesday), with the next poll in the series being revealed the day before on the Tuesday (two weeks today).

The poll can be found on all the pages of this Site either at the bottom of the Homepage or on the bottom of the right hand side menu depending on which page of the site you are viewing at the time.

If you have any problems finding or voting in the poll, contact our Admin Team on info@total-tranmere.co.uk.

The day out at Wembley was superb but for me, getting there by winning that semi-final and against Bolton of all teams too was even more special!

What a night that was!

Watching my team at Wembley still stands at the proudest moment of my life. Yesterday only emphasised that, when I told my dissapointed and destraught cousin that despite the result, he will remember and look back fondly at yesterday for the rest of his life.
