We bring the results of our latest Caption Competition which has run for the past two weeks on the Site, allowing you to contribute comical statements related to our chosen picture. Once again there were several entries but there can only be one winner.

The time has come once again this week for a new Caption Competition on Wednesday which means that today is Caption Competition Results Day ahead of the launch of the new Caption tomorrow.

As a reminder, the picture we asked you to come up with captions for this time around was......

Caption 5 - Crouch and Ronaldo

After trawling through a number of entries this time around, a winner eventually emerged which was the caption submitted by SuperWhiteSoldier whose winning entry was.....

Crouch:  "Why are they crossing to me, when Rooney's got a head this big!!"

Well done to SuperWhiteSoldier and to everyone else who entered some great captions.  The best of the runners up was:

Crouch: "Have you heard the noise I make when I slap my cheeks?"

SuperWhiteSoldier joins our previous winners Dani_TRFC, Super_White_Army (twice a winner) and IanTRFC in the end of season vote off for the best Caption of the Season..
