After seeing his side go down to a 1-0 defeat at Huddersfield's Galpharm Stadium on Saturday afternoon, Manager Ronnie Moore kept his team in the dressing room for half an hour after the final whistle to make his feelings known.
He then told the media that they only had themselves to blame for not creating chances despite having the best of the game in terms of possession.
Moore told Tranmere World............
"We basically cut our own throats. That's been the outcome of the last few games. We've got to score when we're on top. We've limited them to very few chances and I don't think they deserved to win but we've not been ruthless enough."
"We've not won enough away games and we're probably a dozen goals short of being in the Play Offs. I'm not having a go at the forwards only for that, the service from the wide men hasn't been good enough. We've got in how many times and we've hit the first man."

Calvin Zola was out Injured along with Several Others
"It's disappointing. You want to come off and win and then find out your fate. We've got two games left and we want to finish with two wins. We're as good as anybody in this division, but we've got a bit of a soft centre and we've got to be more ruthless. I can't fault their effort, but we haven't killed them off when we should have done."
"Ian [Moore] had been sick all night with a bug, Ad (Adnan Ahmed) has had the same thing and couldn't be involved. Davies has an adductor strain, Myrie-Williams has a knee injury and Zola has a hamstring strain. We were down to the bare bones."
Ronnie Moore's comments first appeared on Tranmere World through the Official Tranmere Rovers Website.
