Huddersfield Vs Tranmere
Saturday 19th April 2008 - Kick-Off 3.00pm
Coca-Cola League One at Galpharm Stadium
At the time of writing, the outcome of Leeds United's appeal against their points deduction is still unknown and therefore after Leeds' midweek defeat at Huddersfield, Tranmere are still in with a slight chance of catching the one mighty but now fallen team from Elland Road.
After two straight defeats against Walsall away and Nottingham Forest at home, Tranmere have made life hard for themselves with three games to go and although Manager Ronnie Moore refuses to publicly state that his team's chances of a play-off spot are gone, some of the fans have given up hope despite it still being mathematically possible.
The return of Steve Davies as a substitute in the home game against Nottingham Forest will be a boost to the team as will the return yet again of Chris Shuker on the other wing.
Huddersfield will be on a high after that win over Leeds on Tuesday and Rovers' record at Huddersfield is not good on the whole.

The Galpharm Stadium
In seventeen matches, Tranmere have scored just eleven times including three times in 3-1 win in the 2004-05 season when Theo Whitmore netted twice and Chris Dagnall added a third.
Earlier this season, Rovers beat Huddersfield, under the since departed Andy Ritchie 3-0 thanks to goals from Paul McLaren, Shane Sherriff and Gareth Taylor on a Friday night back in October so the Terriers will be out for revenge this time around.
If you are travelling to the game get behind the lads and let's aim for three wins out of three for the final games and then see what happens from there in regard to the team just down the road from Huddersfield.
Enjoy the Game!
Tranmere Team News
Tranmere are without suspended midfielder Paul McLaren for the trip up the M62 whilst winger Steve Davies faces a late fitness test before being declared fit to play.
