Moore on Monday - "It's Not Over Yet!"
By Deadly Submarine

We bring you Ronnie Moore's Monday comments to the Press as initially heard on Tranmere World earlier today. Despite the damaging defeat to Walsall on Saturday afternoon, Ronnie refuses to beleive his sides' chances of a play-off place have gone completely.

Moore on Monday – “It’s Far From Over”

In his Monday Press Conference, Ronnie Moore declared via Tranmere World on the Official Tranmere Rovers Website that contrary to what some Rovers Fans may think, the season is far from over.

After Rovers went down 2-1 at Walsall on Saturday, Moore blasted referee Carl Boyeson for his decision to send off Ben Chorley in the first half and as his comments today show, he hasn't changed his mind on the decision.

He also refused to rule out his side finishing in the play-offs in May ahead of a couple of massive games in the coming weeks.

Ronnie told Tranmere World....

"The lads are a little bit down and flat, but if ever you wanted a game to lift you, then Saturday's will.  We're hoping for a good crowd.  If we can get the vocal support here with the drum beating and a performance and a half from the lads?"

"This is far from over, there's no way a white flag has gone up.  Let's wait and see what the facts are at the end of the season.  There are a lot of twists and turns to come.  With four games to go we've still got a chance of going to Wembley."

"Anything can happen and games in hand don't mean a thing if you don't win them.  We need to get out there and give it a go. If we fail by giving it a go I'll never complain about the lads."

Speaking about the penalty decision that he thought was debatable to say the least, Ronnie added.....

"My first instincts were that it wasn't a penalty and having seen the video I'm convinced it wasn't.  Two bodies come together and there's not one appeal from their two players who were closer than the referee to the incident."

It was a massive decision and it changed the game.  At that stage I thought we were quite comfortable.  Ben will miss one game now."

Ronnie Moore's comments first appeared on Tranmere World through the Official Tranmere Rovers Website.

There's still 12 points to go for. A defeat to Forest and it's over but until the fat lady sings, it's not over
