Total Tranmere looks at what manager Ronnie Moore had to say to the official Tranmere website today. The interview comes before a vital away game at Walsall this weekend, where a win could provide a major boost of confidence to the Rover's side.
Moore told the official site... "The players know what is at stake. These opportunities don't come along that often. They know it's another big game. To use the old cliché we've got five cup finals left."
"We could have done with a little bit of help in midweek, but it went really well for us at the weekend. I still think it's going to be down to us and what we do. Leeds have got the game in hand and if they win that they're two points ahead of us. Brighton can go one point ahead if they win their game in hand. It's going to go right down to the wire."
We've got to play Southend, Forest and Walsall. If we win those three games we'll be bang in there. Someone has to go to Wembley and someone has to win there. Why can't it be us?"

"It won't be decided on Saturday. We've got to go there and show no fear. If we produce the form I know we're capable of, we're more than capable of going to Walsall and winning."
"It's a tight ground and a tough place to go. But they've just struggled a bit with their home form this season. We know they're a counter attacking side and they like to play with one up front. If we go there and are positive and set about them, I think we can give them one or two problems."
Moore also commented on the progress of long term absentee Steve Davies... "He's working hard and I'm pleased with his progress. Next week we'll work with his sprint, we need to get that yard of pace back. Fingers crossed I believe we can get a game out of him."
"He's in training with us full time and he's now being tackled, whereas previously we had him wrapped in cotton wool."
"Chris Shuker is still a bit sore behind the knee, but we'll have a look at him in training and he'll be added to the squad that goes to Walsall."
Tranmere will play in an even bigger game next week, when they take on Nottingham Forest at Prenton Park, the win could see Tranmere move above Forest if they lose this weekend aswell, providing Tranmere win.
