After just over two weeks of close and competitive voting, Total Tranmere users have voted Antony Kay as their Player of the Month for February in one of the tightest contests of the seasons so far. The results could be said to reflect how well the players have done in recent weeks......

After two weeks of voting the time has come to announce the winner of the February Player of the Month vote.

The results were as follows.........

The winner therefore was defender Antony Kay after a tight vote which saw all twelve candidates gain at least one vote this time around.

Kay, a summer signing from Barnsley has been impressive at the back alongside Ian Goodison since breaking into the first team and has also weighed in with his fair share of goals, all of them crucial so the fact that he has finally nailed a Player of the Month Award here on Total Tranmere is probably fair.

Ian Moore was a close second to Anthony Kay with Shane Sherriff in third place.

it's a good call and luckily for him didn't include last weeks game. i ...think... i voted for antony. hopefully he's got his bad game out of his system now plus we got the points still, now we can push on.
