The time has come once again for us to judge the latest round of our fornightly Caption Competition here on Total Tranmere and announce the winner to you prior to the release of our next Caption Picture tomorrow.

For the last fortnight we have been asking you to submit comical captions related to the picture we published here on the Site two weeks ago and this time around we had more entries than ever with 30 different attempts made.

Before we announce the results, here is a reminder of the picture you were captioning.....

Caption 2 - Rooney/Ronaldo

Once again all the entries were narrowed down to  final three and the winner was chosen from those three.

The runners-up this time around were......

M-L who posted the Caption:

"Ronaldo experiences a different kind of hard tackle."

St Pauli who posted this effort.........

"Can we now forget the sending off incident please Wayne???"

The winning Caption came from James Tompkins (Super_White_Army) with the following effort.......

"Here's proof that Ronaldo goes down easily!!"

Well done to James whose Caption goes into the end of season vote along with Dani Read's winning entry from last time and any future Winners that we may have.

Stay tuned tomorrow for our next Caption Competition which takes back to a Tranmere theme.
