After two weeks of entries being submitted, we can now reveal the Winner of our first Total Tranmere Caption Competition that will go into the end of season vote off for the best overall Caption of the Season. There were over 20 entries made but only one can be the outright winner.....

The judges have made their decision and we can announce the winner of our very first Caption Competition here on Total Tranmere.

For the last fortnight we have been asking you to submit comical captions related to the picture we published here on the Site and we were proud to boast 24 separate entries which the Judges whittled down to a final three before deciding on a winner.

Before we announce the results, here is a reminder of the picture you were captioning.....

Taylor Caption 1

Both of the runners-up Captions came from SuperwhiteSoldier and were as follows....

"Maybe now I've left, that SWS will stop mailing me Letter Bombs."

"I've heard the Donny scouts are here today, I best actually do something...."

But the winning Caption came from Dani Read (Dani_trfc) with the following effort.......

Taylor: Well that's my work done for the Season

Well done to Dani whose Caption goes into the end of season vote along with any future Winners that we may have.

Stay tuned tomorrow for our next Caption Competition which will move away from the Tranmere theme.
