After a long break following the break through of Joe Murphy, Peter Kennedy could well be next big thing goalkeeping wise to come through the Tranmere youth system. 

Following in the footsteps of the likes of the aforementioned Murphy, Danny Coyne and Steve Simonson, Kennedy is in good company and definitely has the ability to match if not better those three ‘keepers. 

A fantastic reaction saver, Kennedy is very vocal and grasped his chance in the reserve team with two firm hands as he stepped in for the injured Shane McWeeney at Buckley Town against Wrexham in the Reserves League. 

Kennedy organises his defence well and is good at dealing with crosses and can make magic saves to keep the ball out of his goal.
