Liverpool born winger Louis Corrigan, is, like Dave Wilson, capable of playing on either wing and often in games in which both players feature, the two will switch wings from time to time.

Very quick with an eye for goal, the left-footed player, Corrigan has bags of ability and potential, and is most definitely capable of whipping lethal crosses in to the box after beating his man on the wing.

A pacey player, Corrigan is skilful but a lack of service can result in the player not receiving the ball for long-periods in games, which definitely reduces Tranmere's attacking outlets.  Corrigan is a decent tackler and when he gets in the right positions he can also hit a deadly shot.

Last season, Corrigan was a regular for the reserves, but rarely featured for the reserves because Rovers had Michael Jones on the books, whilst Carl Tremarco was also around up until December.

Corrigan is also capable of playing at left-back if required.
