A defender who made his debut for the reserve team in the 2-1 victory over Chester City in the Pontins Holidays League Cup following a long injury lay off in the previous campaign. 

Still at a young age, Mitchell impressed on his step up from youth team football, showing good pace and aerial ability as well as a good tackle, vital of course for somebody playing as a central defender. 

Mitchell also appeared to slot comfortably into defence with partner Ashton Taylor and, with no doubt, the players have both played together at youth level for Rovers.
