Ryan Fraughan
Midfielder

There are not many people who can signal-handedly change a game when they step on to the pitch but Ryan Fraughen appears to be one of these players. Fraughen is only a second year scholar and didn't feature on a regular basis for the reserves last season, but when he did he showed great potential. Indeed, it appears that when he plays well, the team around him plays very well too.
A central midfielder, who has also played in attack, Fraughen is an increadible passer of the ball, with the ability to open up defences with one effortless touch as he creates plenty of team mates for his team-mates. The midfielder is also a superb finisher in front of goal, scoring six times for the youth team last season.
Possessing excellent stamina and pace, Fraughan is a very creative player, although he can sometimes go missing in games, whilst his work-rate is often very good.
Not a bad tackler either, Fraughen indeed has huge potential, and it was his inch perfect cross, drifting across the six yard box and over the ‘keepers head, that led to Luke Waterfall's equaliser for Tranmere in the 2-2 pre-season draw with Cammell Laird.
The blonde-haired youngster's ability has already been recognised by Rovers boss Ronnie Moore, as he made a substitute appearance in Tranmere's friendly win over Heswall in July 2008.
