Terry Gornell

Striker

Striker Terry Gornell is one of the shining lights and biggest prospects in the Tranmere youth set up as he looks to follow Craig Curran on to the first team scene at some point this season.

A natural goal scorer, Gornell shows deadly accuracy in front of goal and has a magnificent first touch and skill to help him beat his man with the ball on the floor.  In the air, the youngster is also useful as he will weigh in with his fair share of flicks on when the ball is heaved forward to him whilst he can also play on the left-wing if necessary.

Gornell has good pace as well to go with excellent vision which he can use to pick out a good pass.  He can score goals from both inside and outside the opposition's penalty area.  Due to a couple of first team injuries, Gornell was an un-used substitute for the first time at the age of just 17 when Tranmere took on Morecambe in the Johnstone's Paints Trophy First Round in September 2007.
