Ashton Taylor
Defender

Tall second-year scholar Ashton Taylor is capable of playing in central midfield or defence and has already won international honours for Wales at school boy level. Wirral born, Taylor began life as a central-midfielder, before switching to become a centre-back on Ronnie Moore's recommendation.
After great success in his new position, due to his natural pace and height, Taylor has started the 2008/09 season in midfield where he has also had a big influence on the team.
The youngster is good in the air but his main asset is his ability with the ball when it's on the deck. When playing in midfield, Taylor has the ability to open up defences with passes, whilst in defence he is well capable of making crucial tackles to prevent the opposition from scoring.
