A dead-ball specialist, left-footed Aaron Cresswell has become a key member of the Tranmere youth and reserve sides over recent years.  Capable of playing at left-midfield as well as his natural left-back position, Cresswell is a tough tackler and you might say he is much in the mould of Carl Tremarco, the Tranmere Rovers first team left-sided player. 

Cresswell has great pace, meaning he can get up and down the wing well to support the left-sided midfielder when he's at left-back, whilst he also has a good eye for a pass and positional sense.  Cresswell is indeed a good set-piece taker and can take both corners and free-kicks from any distance for both the youth and reserve sides.
