25. Craig Curran
Striker

England
Date of Birth - 23rd August 1989

Craig Curran had already made a name for himself after banging in the goals for fun in the Youth and Reserve sides before the striker finally made his first team bow away at Bristol City in January 2007, playing the final six minutes of the game on the right wing.
His next appearance was a little more effective as he came off the bench for his home debut at Prenton Park to score within 25 seconds with his very first touch at home against Brighton on Easter Monday. Rovers had been a goal behind but Curran's goal gave Rovers hope and they went on to win the game thanks to a late Chris Greenacre penalty.
Craig went even further on his first ever start for the Club on the final day of the 2006-07 season, scoring a hat-trick inside the first 36 minutes to hand Rovers a 3-1 win.
Last season, Curran's first-team chances were limited as he faced competition from Chris Greenacre, Calvin Zola and Gareth Taylor and later Ian Moore for a starting place and this year the emergence of another youngster in Terry Gornell means Curran has even more of a fight on his hands to gain a regular place.
