Ronnie Moore brought Danny back to Tranmere in the summer of 2007 following an eight year spell away after leaving the Club in 1999.

During the 1990's Coyne made over 100 appearances in goal for Tranmere before embarking on a four season spell at Grimsby Town but when he was handed the opportunity to play Premiership football with Leicester City in 2003, it was a chance he couldn't turn down.

However after making just one League appearance for the Foxes that season, Coyne moved back to the North West the following summer when he agreed to join Championship side Burnley.

Coyne made 43 appearances for the Turf Moor Club in three seasons before being released in the summer of 2007 and subsequently returning to Prenton Park on a two-year deal as the first choice goalkeeper.

Danny Coyne also boasts ten International Caps for his native Wales during his career so far.
