Central defender Chorley is 24 years-old and joined Rovers in early July 2007 on a two-year contract after previously playing at Milton Keynes Dons.

Chorley began his career at Arsenal where he won the F.A Youth Cup in 2001 before moving on to Wimbledon in 2003 via a loan spell with Brentford.

Ben stayed at Wimbledon following their controversial transition to Milton Keynes Dons and spent a large part of last season on loan at Gillingham, making 24 appearances and scoring three goals including the winner against Tranmere at Prenton Park in December.

In May, Chorley had his contract terminated by mutual consent. And two months later after speculation about a move to Millwall as well as Tranmere he was eventually signed by Ronnie Moore.
