Steven Jennings joined Tranmere at the age of 14 after being released by Everton and made his first team debut in the 2003-04 season.

After the departure of Brian Little at the end of the 2005-06 season, the 23 year-old fell out of favour with new Boss Ronnie Moore and was loaned out to League Two side Hereford United in January 2007 where he impressed enough to stay until the end of the season.

The loan move seemed to benefit Steve greatly as he returned to Prenton Park for the 2007-08 campaign and became an ever-present in the Rovers midfield last season alongside Paul McLaren.

Currently believed to be on a week-to-week contract at the Club, Rovers fans will hoping the Club are able to tie Jennings to a new, longer deal sooner rather than later.
