The FA Youth Cup holders face a difficult 1st leg away at Norwich City later this evening in what could be the biggest crowd some of these boys have played in front of as 20,000 plus are expected at Carrow Road. The game kicks-off at 7.45pm and there will be LIVE updates on the board below and team news will be published as soon as it becomes available.
Chelsea defeated Liverpool in their two-legged semi-final whilst Norwich beat Nottingham Forest on penalties after City won at Forest 1-0 in the first leg and at Carrow Road in the 2nd leg (in front of a crowd of near 10,000,) Forest won 1-0 therefore forcing the game into extra-time which ended with no further goals being scored.
This morning at Cobham, the U21s concluded their league season with a 1-0 win over Blackburn Rovers with Billy Clifford (returning from his loan spell at Colchester United) scoring the winner five minutes from time.
Patrick Bamford started the game after returning from his loan spell at MK Dons.
On Saturday a very young U18s team including FIVE youngsters aged 15, two of which were making their first appearance at U18 level, travelled North to face Everton and within thirty minutes, Chelsea found themselves 3-0 down.
The last hour improved as Everton failed to add to their tally and Chelsea pulled one back through Chike Kandi to make the final score 3-1.

Heartbreak for Chelsea as ex-Chelsea Academy product Gavin McGeehan scores a last minute penalty high into the roof of the net to give Norwich a 1-0 win in an absolutely enthralling and entertaining game played at 100% throughout the 90 minutes.
Chelsea had their chances but failed to take them. Norwich were superbly organised in defence and their attacking options of the Murphy twins on the flanks caused Aina and Wright problems all night.
But it was the unfortunate Davey who was mesmirised by Murphy as he bore down into the area and right on the byeline, Davey brought his man down.
Upstepped McGeehan to give Norwich victory.
The stage is set for the same in the 2nd leg at The Bridge in two weeks time and naturally there will be LIVE updates.
