Fulham Preview: Don't You Bank On It?!?

Not too much of a preview this time round. I don’t really want to regurgitate the same old same old: Rotation, rotation – because you know exactly that – rotation, rotation, rotation. Will ‘Captain, Leader, Legend, One England Captain, JT start along with 200 goal Super Frankie Lampard? Time and games are running out for Frankie boy, a player who has scored six goals at Craven Cottage over the years. A must starter? Don’t you bank on it!

Should 200 goal Super Frankie Lampard play any part in tonight’s game it will be his 600th appearance in a Blue shirt – Legend!!

Ashley Cole is still unfit, although he is expected to recover and be fit in time for Sunday’s trip to Anfield (Please leave fatty there!!) and Gary Cahill is recovering from his knee operation that he underwent at the end of March.

Damien Duff is out injured for Fulham and Steve Sidwell is also missing as he completes the last of his three match suspension.

Chelsea’s form away from Stamford Bridge hasn’t inspired too much confidence of late and if your include the FA Cup semi-final defeat at Wembley (yes I know it’s a neutral venue) last Sunday, Chelsea have lost four of their last five games in all competitions.

Three of the last five league meetings at the Cottage have ended in draws, the other two games ended in Chelsea victories and three points are paramount tonight if Chelsea are to maintain their pursuit for a Champions League place.

COMING UP: Friday 19th April 2013, FA Youth Cup Semi-Final 2nd Leg v Liverpool, LIVE.

(The winners will play Norwich City in the final, who beat Nottingham Forest last night after a penalty shoot-out.)
