Man Utd Preview: Wembley Awaits

COME ON CHELSEA

The press are all over Fatty’s CV this morning just as was written here yesterday after the debacle that was the defeat by Southampton. A poor Chelsea performance made worst by Southampton’s attitude, determination, grit, fight and good football making Chelsea look poor. Expect another set of wholesale changes as Fatty sets about improving that CV.

Expect ‘Captain, Leader, Legend, One England Captain’ JT to continue his Hokey Cokey routine dancing back to be a bench-warmer.

Expect Luiz to partner Ivanovic in defence, unless Cahill is fit, shifting Ivanovic out to the right.

Expect Cole to return at left-back.

Expect Mata (if recovered from a virus) and Hazard to resume duty.

In the midfield minefield, expect Ramires to return, although it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if Fatty decides to include his best mate Benayoun,

Expect Ba, naturally to replace Torres, because there is no-one else!!!

Fatty has called for consistency from the team this morning (It would be nice if Fatty showed more positive organisation and tactics for the team to respond to, rather than words in mixed-up messages).

He said, “Today is a big game against a very good side but we showed in Old Trafford we could do it, and we will try to.

“United are top of the table and we were better than them in the first game. We can compete. When you play two games in three days it is not easy, and we are doing well for the situation we have. (WHAT!?!)

“To play two games a week for four months is not easy to keep the team at the same level the whole time.

“We have played some nice football, scored a lot of goals, but still, we have to be more consistent.”

“You blew your chance,” replied Sir Alex.
