Zhirkov signing confirmed by Ancelotti

During his first press conference this morning at Stamford Bridge, Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Yuri Zhirkov is now a Chelsea player. The transfer fee was not discussed but no doubt will be in the ball park of the 18m touted by the media.

Zhirkov is known as the “Russian Ronaldinho” because of his skill factors and is extremely versatile down the left-hand side.
