Rodgers joined Chelsea in 2004 from Reading as Academy coach.
Two years later he got promotion and became Reserve team coach, when Mick McGiven moved up to the first team.

Chelsea were instrumental in allowing Rodgers to move to Vicarage Road so quickly and Rodgers was quick to acknowledged Chelsea's efforts.
He said, "The club have been fantastic in terms of dealing with Watford and for that I give a big thank you to Peter Kenyon and the board. It is a massive opportunity for me and I am delighted.
"I've had a wonderful four and a bit years here and I've got memories both personal and football that I will treasure for the rest of my life, but it is a new cycle to go and operate in and I am excited by the challenge, and I am really looking forward to it."
Academy coach Paul Clement takes charge of the reserves this evening and Chelsea have announced that Rodgers replacement will be an internal appointment.

It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if Clement gets the nod.
As for tonights game, Mineiro gets an outing, Lee Sawyer fresh from a loan spell at Southend returns.
Carl Magnay who had been suspended returns - Left-Back or Central Defence? He is quality in either position.
Scott Sinclair doesn't appear to be in Chelsea's plans for Wednesday against Bordeaux, lines-up with Sergio Tejera as Chelsea's attacking options.
Chelsea look to back bounce back after two successive home defeats, but they do have a 100% away record, just like the first team.
