COME ON CHELSEA
Chris is suffering from Parkinson's Disease and for someone who served Chelsea so well between 1971 and 1975, his appearance today is a terrible shame.

Chris joined Chelsea in 1971 and his first goal for the club came in that memorable two-legged League Cup semi-final against Tottenham which Chelsea won 5-4 on aggregate.
All in all Chris made 114 appearances for Chelsea, scoring 31 goals.

Chris has been suffering from Parkinson's Disease for the last twenty years and he has written a book about his battles with the disease and his career at Bristol City, Chelsea and Leicester.

Chris' book is called 'A Life of Two Halves.'
As for the game against Newcastle at The Bridge on Saturday - well the stats are in favour of another Chelsea victory - 14 wins in the last 20 League games and as the stats go that is you are going to get.
I am not the one that likes to tempt fate. Reading between the lines , the 'barcodes' fans are just gonna turn up and expect the worse - eh?
Have some faith!!! LOL
Scolari announced that Joe Cole and Petr Cech are back in the squad, Frank Lampard is expected to be fit after his rib injury received at WBA last week and Alex is a possible starter.
Definitely out is Didier (and we know why).
Deco, Ferreira and Bossie didn't get back to Cobham from Brazil until 6pm Thursday evening and Scolari said, "After 15 hours flying, it is impossible to train. But if they can play a full game for the national team, why not play Saturday?"
Hopefully Chelsea will welcome back old-boys Geremi and Damien Duff, who served the Blue's cause with such distinction, with great support.
Fingers crossed that for 90 minutes that welcome won't be taken literally by both players - LOL LOL!
