Diesel, Diesel
Immortalized a few years ago on Soccer AM - when you had heads behind a sofa jumping up - and chanting 'diesel' everytime the name of Crewe was mentioned.
Crewe are the pivotal club in British football churning out youngsters through their magnificent Academy structure under the watchful, caring eye of Technical Director Dario Gradi, who once upon a time was a member of the Chelsea staff way back in the 80's.
Gradi became the longest serving manager in British football serving Crewe from 1983 until July 1st 2007.

Back to this afternoon and Academy coach Paul Clement said, "It was a good comeback but it is disappointing to go two-nil down. It was the first game of the season and we wanted to win and get a good start in the League to improve on out position from last year.
"Although we did finish strong and even had a chance to win it at the death, overall it was not a performance we can be too pleased with.
"The start of the first half and in the second we were in control, but we ended up chasing the game after going two-nil down, because of our mistakes, but once we started attacking they couldn't handle us."
Daniel Philliskirk who has been at Chelsea for a year after signing from Oldham Athletic was handed the Captain's armband.
Chelsea's scorers were Jacopo Sala and Ben Gordon.
Crewe's scorers were Danny Shelley and Matt Freeman (thanks to Alex9).
