Terry is England Captain - So There!

CAPELLO AND TERRY
By dixon9

Chelsea captain John Terry has been named as permanent England captain by Fabio Capello this morning. The announcement came much to the dismay of the media in general who will do whatever they can to continue and promote an anti-Chelsea agenda at the expense of objective journalism – this pleases the old guard of clubs fans in order to keep their customers happy.

The Evening Standard even printed a two page spread promoting Ferdinand, obviously irked at their embarrassing gaff of announcing Gerrard as Captain under the previous regime only for Terry to be awarded the honour just hours later!

Why the clamour against Terry?  Well, I’ve outlined the principle reason above but the media and oppo fans listed the fact that he parked in a disabled bay while he nipped in to pick up a Pizza, pressurising referees…and…and…well…he plays for Chelsea doesn’t he?

They all joined in but ironically yet rather predictably the “failings” of the player they were championing somehow didn’t receive a mention!  Parking in a disabled space – read caught speeding at 105mph; Pressurising referees – Ferdy doesn’t do that does he?!!!....read Terry preventing him from hitting Mikel at Stamford Bridge, read kicking a ball out in anger down the tunnel that hit a lady steward……READ missing a drugs test and a consequent 9 month ban!

I could or would have liked to discuss the technical merits of both players on what they actually do on the field and how they lead their own teams – but why should I bother? Nobody else has for the last 24 hours or so!

It really does beggar belief the sheer stupidity and desperation of the plebeian masses (but then that’s why they are the plebeian masses I suppose!).

Fortunately, Capello isn’t stupid and isn’t swayed by a media with an agenda that is difficult not to notice even if you have been in the country for a short time.

Capello was quite notorious for doing the opposite of what the media wanted when he was in Italy – wouldn´t it be ironic if our hypocritical media with their obvious motives to serve the establishment actually played a part in making up Capello´s mind for him?!

I shall now look at the press and listen to oppo fans all having a good fume – and thoroughly enjoy watching them take yet another step towards spontaneous combustion.

Ferdinand's undoing was kicking the female Chelsea steward last season.

JT as we know wears his heart on his sleeve, Chelsea shirt and England shirt.... Everybody knows he is the RIGHT man to lead England.

He knows where to stick his head in for the cause.

And JT don't give a s**t about showing his emotions either!!!

Right decision... unless you are a ManUre fan who doesn't live in Manchester!! (Sm22)
