In yesterday's press, one paper published a possible Chelsea dream team - just imagine kids in a sweet shop salivating over the tasty treats in front of them - the likes of David Villa, Ronaldinho, Deco and Eto'o alongside Super Frank, Cech, JT, Ashley Cole, Carvalho, Ballack, Bosingwa.
What an interesting few weeks, until the football season starts, we have in store.

As for one of the two owners wanting to do the deal with Chelsea that would make sense given the attitude to selling and not selling Liverpool football club is between them (also bear in mind that neither Hicks or Gillett paid for Torres out of their own pockets - they took out a LOAN to buy him and then loaded that loan onto the club - a loan that is accruing interest).
No, they refinanced and then loaned the club 105 million from Kop holdings, 60 million to put spades in to the ground and 40 million for ongoing expenses, not specifically Torres..

"Now is not the time to be saying goodbye. Fernando Torres' agent has asked about my Liverpool future and my answer is that I am 100 per cent committed. If we had a lot of money to spend it would be better, but if we don't it doesn't matter. It is not about buying the most expensive players; it is about buying the right ones."
You really don't know Rafa at all and anything he says in public is said for a purpose and rarely what it appears on face value but feel free to put your own interpretation on it..

Just as importantly, that agent’s phone call also confirms that at least Torres thought about the Chelsea deal.
Where does it confirm that?

There are also reports that Torres doesn’t like living in Merseyside. This will be dismissed by scousers as the “cockney press” putting Liverpool down.
Putting us down? I've never seen jealousy as being put down, sorry to disappoint. Could you show us some proof other than the DM as to Torres' disatisfaction with Liverpool? As already pointed out he's never had a bad word to say about it and always professed a great liking for his life here.

"I feel very confident here. If we can win trophies, then much better. This is my team, my city and Anfield is my pitch. I feel very good."
Without meaning to rub it in, can you really imagine a player like Torres saying that but with Chelsea? Even someone like Lampard or Drogba? Its a shame that you'll never experience what its like to be a truly special club, win, lose or draw. Its a shame you sold out everything just to win. But with no soul, just a rich mans toy.
We may have crappy, dumb owners. But at least we're not that, a rich mans latest toy. Thats sad, as one football fan to another, I do actually pity you
