Taylor's goal was a lazy, horrible goal to concede and after all the effort that the players had put in to get themselves into the position prior to yesterday's kick-off, a terrible waste of effort and a shame. Alex's defending was criminal especially as he had a half-decent game.
Another player who a good game was Bolton's 'keeper Al-Habsi.
He pulled off a series of fine saves, which had they all gone in could have 'embarrased' Bolton back into the relegation issue, especially with Reading winning as expected and heavily at Derby County.

It made a nice change to see Sheva get more minutes than he has had recently and he proved what a top-class striker he is scoring Chelsea's goal on the hour, despite not connecting with the ball properly after Super Frank had mis-hit his shot.

Could Sheva, who looks like he is out the door after the Champions League final, become our talisman in Moscow in less than ten days time especially if you believe the reports that Didier Drogba could be struggling with injury.
As for John Terry. I for one thought he was out till next season after his awkward collision where his arm was sandwiched inbetween Petr Cech and Bolton's Kevin Davies.
So far the prognosis is good. JT discolated his elbow and whilst on his way to hospital the elbow went back into place. JT had an x-ray that revealed no break or fracture, but as a precaution he is having a scan tomorrow (Tuesday), to make sure there are no hairlines fractures.
I am still 'irked' by what has gone on this season and I know I shouldn't be especially as "I was there when we were s**t."
If you wanted rubbish you should have been there. I have seen the rubbish and endured the rubbish on many many occasions, however we haven't been rubbish this season.
We have been more careless rather than rubbish on more than one occasion probably to many for me to remember or recount and for the second successive season we have had to endure a horrific long-term injury list and to cap it all, key players on African Cup of Nations duty.
However having said that, we kept going, we perservered, we clawed back the points on the teams above and on the last day of the season we were still in the hunt for the title until Man Utd scored first at the JJB.
