What a night! One of the most tense experiences I´ve had. Some points were torturous - so much so that there were times when I asked myself why I am I so much into this football lark!

Pretty good first half and a superb finish from Drogba (LOVED the way he ran over to Benitez!!!).

The 2nd half we did what we nearly always do when we take a lead - drop the lines back deep and defend! (When will we ever learn?!!!). We handed the inititive back to Liverpool and Benayoun produced excellent skill for the equaliser.

Extra time really proved the resolve, character and fitness of this team - we dug in and found more petrol in the tank.

Drogba was totally unplayable - he has to be the best forward in the world at the moment. Defences just can´t handle him even though he´s mostly on his own up front.

I actually thought Lampard wasn´t quite himself on the pitch (understandably) BUT what a pen! I didn´t want him to take the pen but he proved me wrong. That pen under those circumstances will surely go down as one of the great European football moments.

Absolutely superb atmosphere - our fans made a mockery of the Liverpool taunts that it wouldn´t be anything special (Same at home to Barcelona as well - AH! Those "special europan nights" at the Bridge!!!).

We definitely deserved the win and it hasn´t quite sunk in yet....

Grant?

I´m with you all the way and even if we were to win both the CL and PL I STILL wouldn´t want him at the helm (although if we did pull off a miracle then I would acknowledge that he would have earned another season whether I like it or not).

I actually believe that with Grant we have been playing with one leg tied behind our backs - and I DO realise that that would mean we could have done even better than what we have done (I honestly believe so).

Still, credit to Grant, Clarke and Ten Cate to get to where we are at this stage of the season - considering all the upheaval and injuries for around the first 60% of the season it is quite astounding.

Still, back to the match: We exorcised a ghost last night (and it took it´s time coming).

My head is so full of it... like you I have been there, done it, seen it and worn the FC****G Chelsea T-Shirt.

Seriously the reality hasn't set in and I doubt it won't until 21st May.

Lets be honest I can't afford to go to Moscow even if I wanted to go, the type of money you need to go u need to be on Premiership wages to afford the trip.
