Chelsea Reserves end their season tonight against Aston Villa tonight at Brentford's Griffin Park and the Reserves will be looking to extend their five game unbeaten run. Just like last week against Spurs there will be first-teamers on duty in Steve Sidwell and Claudio Pizarro and Franco Di Santo will be leading the line with loads of confidence after his three goal salvo against Spurs.

Villa themselves travel to Griffin Park with first-teamers.
Stuart Taylor plays in goal, Wayne Routledge and Shaun Maloney who scored twice in the epic Boxing Day encounter at Stamford Bridge also play.
No doubt the whole of Aston Villa FC will be on a high after the first team's demolition of Birningham Cirty yesterday.
On Villa's bench is Nathan Delfouneso who scored Villa's goal in the FA Youth Cup semi-final at The Bridge.
Chelsea will be looking for revenge on Villa because back in October, Villa beat us 6-0 with Marlon Harewood helping himself to a hat-trick.

That would be a fairy-tale event indeed. To be honest, I was slightly surprised that when the club was looking at gk back-up a few weeks ago, his name didn´t come up in place of Rhys Taylor (or whashisname if you are Grant!). Searle has been getting very good reviews.

It was a very open game but for the last twenty five minutes the game got scrappy and Villa after a while looked the more likely to score.
We took the lead and Searle made a mistake and Villa equalised.
Our season is now finished but we do have some quality players that CAN make the first team.

Franco Di Santo - the boy runs forever
Stuart Searle - despite his mistake tonight, deserves a place on the first team bench
