Complaining that Chelsea fans haven't taken up Fenerbache's ticket allocation.

Its alright for him he goes ALL expenses paid to every game away from home - howabout considering the annual expenditure that Chelsea fans have to endure following the club, home and away?

Howabout Chelsea fans 'being frightened of going to Turkey?'

Howabout Tommy Langley saying he admires the 1,000 plus fans that travelled for tonight's game?'

Howabout fans WHO want to go, that can't afford to go?'

Tell Barnett its the fans that pay his wages!!

Please someone tell Barnett to wind his neck in and think before he opens his big fat gob. Barnett is slowly becoming an embarrassment to Chelsea Football Club, especially after his remarks about the 'Boro support last Sunday.

No I hope the patronising Barnett will understand why Chelsea didn't travel to Istanbul this evening.

Their two goals came from shots, we can't shoot.

What I forget to mention in my earlier email, Barnett has been with the club for twenty years plus, I have been a fan, a real supporter and a passionate fan SINCE 66 and I have shirts to prove it.

SACK BARNETT and let me have his job, Barnett is just a Chelsea 'prawn sandwich eater' the same as they are in the West Stand - lower, middle and upper, plus the East Stand, lower, middle and upper!!!

I have been a passionate fan SINCE 66, I can travel abroad, I can go to away games, I can go to reserve games and I can watch the Academy too!!!

What I won't do is patronise the lack of support to far away places as Fenerbache on the Asian Continent!!!

I think he was simply making the point that it was a little disappointing that 1000 tickets had not been taken up for such an important game.

He is there to report whatever is going on and that was something that was there to be reported.

It certainly wasn't done to be patronising towards Chelsea fans and I can guarantee that he is not a 'prawn sandwich eater' as you mention.

Well done for writing in. Barnett is treading a fine line - it´s more than possible that some might make their feelings known to him during the next home game.

And what about those who bought their tickets for the Everton game, made arangements, travelling etc and then can´t go because Setanta re-arranged the fixture! (and reduced further our chances of league success).

As for the match:

Very impressive first half - should have capitalised more and they looked scared of us.

Took our foot off the pedal in the second half and paid the price although there 2nd was a wonder goal.

I´m SO annoyed about not going 4-4-2 and again, Grant wastes Anelka ou wide. Please lets drop this redidulous obsession with 4-3-3.

Take no notice of that hypocrite A Forever - he of all people knows that Arsenal are FAMOUS for being the quietest in the country and when the going gets tough and their team need their support, they leave in droves! Shows them up for the spoilt glory hunters some of them are.

(1) At the Lane in the LC - during the first half they started leaving and again with 25 minutes left there were hardly any of them left! If they would have been winning they would have stayed.

(2) Ditto against PSV at the Emirates - realised they were out the CL so with 15 mins to go their clone replica stadium was only 2/3rds full.

(3) Against Stuttgart in the CL 2 seasons ago they only took 800 (YES! 800!) away! Yet they slate us for taking 1000 to ASIA!!!!

(4) In a CL qualifier they only managed 120 odd (YES! 120!).


But, despite this they just love to desperately jump on any anti-Chelsea bandwagon they can - THEY NEED to do this so that they feel better about themselves whilst blocking out their own poor aways and leaving SO early when their team needs their support.

There´s only one word for these ignorant, desperate individuals - HYPOCRITES!



(By the way, look up who holds the record lowest attendance for a league Div 1 game - Í´ll give you a clue, they come from the Woolwich and are today´s modern London equivalent of an MK Dons franchise).
