As for the Arsenal game, which forms the part of Super Grand Slam Sunday, I am not expecting anything any different.
When you have supported a club for as long as I have you take the disappointments as easily as you take the success. For the best part of my life as a Chelsea fan, disappointments have been a fact of life until the recent years - two Premiership titles, two League cups, FA Cup, Champions League semi-finalists and in the early days of my supporting life we had FA Cup, European Cup Winners Cup and League Cup success and that was it.
The rest of the time was left to either avoiding relegation or getting relegated during the next twenty years from the old First Division to Division Two.
During the 90s we had more FA Cup, League and European success under Gullit and Vialli and then till Mourinho arrived, nothing.
Since 'The Special One' left I have been truly indifferent about the appointment of Avram Grant and when he was appointed as coach I said to various people and sources that it would be a 'miracle' if Chelsea won any silverware this season - and I still stand by that.
After being knocked out of the FA Cup and losing the Carling Cup final there only remains the Premiership and the Champions League - fortune favours the brave they say - getting Fenerbache in the last eight give us a real Champions League chance.
As for the Premiership, any other result than a win against Arsenal, unless Liverpool 'do the job' at Man Utd will see us without the title for the 2nd successive season - as we waited 50 years for our first I doubt another year will worry the 'Prawn Sandwich Brigade' too much.
Speaking of the 'Prawn Sandwich Brigade,' Chelsea will be introducing new flags during the pre-match build-up to help to continue generate atmosphere in what is a pivotal game in Chelsea's and Avram Grant's season. The new flags will be position at each corner of the ground and along the touchline and there will be three new designs.
I am hoping 'The Liquidator' gets played at the right time so when the teams walk out of the tunnel, the first burst of 'CHELSEA' sends the 'COME ON' message to the Blue and sends fear through the Red.
