Arsenal were excellent but Stoke were terrible. They won't have an easier game defensively. The only criticism is that the Gunners did not score 6 goals+. The Walcott or Giroud debate will run and run, but both showed today they're capable of having a big impact on our season.
Cech - 7. Didn't have loads to do in fairness, but solid.
Bellerin - 7. Very good.
Gabriel - 7. Fairly solid.
Koscielny - 7. Much improved.
Monreal - 7. Also solid.
Coquelin - 7. Excellent defensively. A few loose passes in the first half if I'm being picky, but generally great.
Cazorla - 7. Excellent ball for Giroud's goal. Good performance overall.
Ramsey - 7. Good performance. Worked hard, linked up and passed well.
Ozil - 7. Excellent ball for Walcott's opener.
Alexis - 8. Also back to his best. Ran himself into the ground and created. Hit the post twice.
Walcott - 7. His pace always makes him a threat but still not fully convinced by him upfront. Maybe lacks killer instinct, but gets into lots of good positions. Should've scored a hat full but got the all important opener.
Subs:
Giroud - . Missed a sitter with his first touch but scored a good header. Lively cameo.
Oxlade-Chamberlain - N/A. Not on long enough.
Arteta - N/A. Not on long enough
