Nil nil to the Chelsea. Player ratings

Chelsea came with the intention of parking the bus and unfortunately for us it worked. We dominated the first half and the end of the second half but were unable to really create anything clear cut. Chelsea had a couple of chances as well, but you could see from Terry's celebrations at the end they were definitely content with 0-0. A point and a clean sheet against the Champions-elect is not the worst thing in the world though. As the whistle went Arsenal fans serenaded the would be champions elect  with a rousing Boring Boring Chelsea.

Ospina - 6. Didn't have loads to do aside from a couple of routine saves. Perhaps got off lucky after nobbling Oscar.

Bellerin - 7. One great clearance off the line. Sound performance.
Mertesacker - 7. Sound performance but missed a good chance.
Koscielny - 7. Sound performance, untroubled by Oscar and Drogba.
Monreal - 7. Another sound performance, kept Willian quiet. Two very good moments going forward, one very sh*te moment going forward.

Coquelin - 7. Usual swashbuckling performance. Dealt with Chelsea well.
Cazorla - 6. Definitely not at his best but still worked hard and kept things ticking over. Missed a good chance.

Ramsey - 8. Quality. Worked hard, defended well, good in possession, drove us forward and pulled off one or two great hollywood flicks.
Ozil - 7. Thought he was very good in the first half. Second half Chelsea roughed him up, he got frustrated and let it get it get to him.
Alexis - 7. Often very frustrating but still worked hard and put himself about trying to create chances. Scuffed our best chance late on.

Giroud - 6. Some good holding and link up play but he got absolutely no change out of Terry and Cahill.

Subs:

Welbeck - 6. Few lively runs but otherwise no up to much. Possibly should've done better after Alexis scuffed Monreal's low cut back.

Walcott - N/A. On late and as usual had no time to do anything.
