Arsenal finish in top four - Player ratings v Monaco

Arsenal were cheated of a penalty, and possibly silverware, in the final game of the Mexican Wave Cup, losing 1-0 to a more match fit Monaco. It was clear that Arsenal have a way to go for match fitness. If Wilshere hadn't of been so reckless giving away a key free kick Arsenal might have kept it to a draw and won more silverware.

Szczesny 7 - nothing he could do about the goal, good game overall

Debuchy 7 - solid game
Chambers 7 - looks a composed central defender
Koscielny 7 - lost Falcao for the goal
Monreal 7 - difficult first half, but done well

Arteta 6 - sideways and backwards with his passing
Ramsey 6 - ok game, but not near his best
wilshere 5 - missed our best chance, slowed play down with too many touches, booked

Alexis 7 - flashes of skill, was lively as a striker
Cazorla 6 - in and out game, mostly out

Giroud 3 - poor game

Subs
Miquel 7 - done well
Oxlade-Chamberlain 6 - helped us up the tempo
Zelalem 5 - few nice neat bits of play
Akpom 5.5 - denied as clear a penalty as you are likely to see
Flamini 4 - little impact, booked
Bellerin n/a - only on a few minutes

I know, weve got to invite some easier teams
