Everyone at Arsenaltimes.com would like to wish all our users a very happy New Year. If you don't have a ticket for the first game of 2009 - the FA Cup tie with Plymouth Argyle - then you can probably get a Club level ticket at half price - as most of club level can't be arsed to turn up for a Championship team, plus it is only Plymouth.

Don't forget to follow all the action on Arsenaltimes.com message board. With dedicated threads you are only a minute behind the action, which puts you about three minutes ahead of Arsenal.con but hopefully without the breaks.

Our Matchday Threads are the only place to go for  HOURS and HOURS of coverage, including live updated postings of the match itself from our posters, and your chance to join in the post-match recriminations.

Don't forget to take part in our worst player of the match award, usually a close run competition between Ade and Nick.

There is no need to suffer on your own join in with our one big unhappy family.

And remember be careful out there

You'll see loads of empty seats around the stadium. Definitely.

Loads of people wont be able to make it as they'll still be away, loads wont be bothered. Loads will be wondering who plymouth are (no disrespect to you, its just the sort of people we get - I'm sure you can imagine the sorts)

Also getting charged upto 80 quid for tickets doesnt help.

How much did we charge your lot? Have you played any of the top 4 in the cups in recent years? You'll be truly shocked, at everything.

£32.50 for lower tier and Upper Tier £38, £43, £46. We haven't played any of the top four in donkey years. Had Pompey in the cup last year (lost 1-2) and Everton a few years before that (lost 1-3)

It was irony Peter C more aimed at our fans than yours.
Happy New Year to the Team that Paul Foot supported.
