Since then Arsenal have had a shit fixture list every year, whilst our rivals have had far better. That was until this year's new fixtures, when the press were full of concern for old red nose and his tiny understaffed squad. Horror of horrors they have got away games after CL fixtures, but strangely the media barely noticed it when it happened to Arsenal. Nor have they noticed it this year when it is almost as bad.

Of our 6 CL match days 5 premiership games are away immediately afterwards. Only one is at home and that is against Manchester United. Oh what a wailing and a sobbing will occur before that match on November 8. Poor old Man U they will cry. Meanwhile no one will notice that we have cushy away trips to Bolton, Sunderland, Boro and Chelsea after our CL match days.

The good old days

I blame Dein, instead of fixing up behind the scene deals with Yanks and oligarchs he should have remained at the FA fixing up those cushy fixtures, and light number of match suspensions our players used to get.
