NASRI HAVING MEDICAL NOW - Exclusive

EMIRATES
By Boris Mellor
May 23 2008
A reliable source has informed Asenal Times that Nasri is now having a medical at Arsenal. It is not officially announced yet but strong rumours are circulating that the deal will now take place. It is also rumoured that the fee will be in the region of £11 million.

Marseilles Samir Nasri

If my source is right it raises important issues about Hleb. Does it mean he is on his way out? Nasri is not a Flamini type player. Rumours suggest that Arsenal will get about 5 million for Hleb - his ice cream could prove very expensive for Wenger.

Ashley Young? We trying to morph into Bolton?

Surely has to be more than £5m. The webster thing seems far too complicated and drawn out to be a feasible option so I can't see that being a factor for a monetary transfer.

£15 mill.

Ashley young is bolton quality eh? oh well

Well i dont know anything about nasri and his youtube clips arent impressive (point of bringing that up is, its supposed to be the clips of your best stuff)

but I trust in wenger

but you have bigger things to worry about hleb24...like wht the f.ck you're going to do about name

Young is a good player but alot of his assists were set pieces and corners. Although I'm not denying he would be useful I feel Wenger likes the Nasri/Hleb/Rosicky type who plays a technical continental game and comes in off the wing to play give and goes with Cesc.

Good point about username. Never thought it would come to this. *weep* *weep*

listen if real madrid, barca and inter are interested in hleb then we will get more than 5 million - we should demand 20million F*ck hleb if he wants to be a c*nt we should play hardball. If nobody will pay 20mil he can play with our 16 year olds in the reserves - IF A PLAYER WANTS TO LEAVE THEY CAN LEAVE BUT DO NOT SNEAK AROUND IN SHADY MEETINGS THAT IS SO F*CKING DISLOYAL AND INSULTING TO THE MANAGER WHO SHOWED FAITH IN YOU AND THE FANS WHO PAY X AMOUNT TO WATCH

lets not allow another cashley - i pay f*ckin hundreds every year to watch the arsenal and these c*nts show no loyalty what so ever and chase the buck - sneaking around in hotel rooms and ice cream parlours with scummy superagents and representatives for extra money

GIMME A RAY PARLOUR OVER AN ALEX HLEB ANYDAY

Talent is one thing but the pride in the shirt is paramount. If your dreaming of barcelona or madrid or milan and want to use our club as a stepping stone - you can f*ck off now

GIVE US 20 MIL AND THAT WILL GO DOWN NICELY - HLEB IS CLASS PLAYER BUT CAN BE REPLACED.. LOOK AT ANELKA, OVERMARS, PETIT WE REPLACED THEM WITH HENRY, PIRES AND CESC

that contract buying stuff is balls as wenger said - hleb will have to take us to court and then sit out 6-8 months of football whilst it gets resolved - all for inter milan? loll

as for Nasri - padre if this is true - well done on the exclusive mate save alot of time having to read w*nk off the telegraph or times

or typing in arsenal in google search after every hour at work to see the latest news

Even if Hleb attempted to buy himself out, Wenegr will simply refuse and let the case be dragged on in teh Arbitration Court and Helb can rot ashe will be banned from football.

Effectively, he will sit out one eyar; and Inter name will be dragged throught the mud as Arsenal will then certainly initiate a formal complain to FIFA for "tapping".

Now, which team will dare to buy this "dmaaged goods" for fear that it may also influence their unhappy players to leave via Webster Clause?

If Hleb is successful in leaving via Webster Clasue, imagine the chaos in the transfer market where a 20 to 30+ million players suddenly is worth less than 10-mil?

And how will ManLeeds, Chelski and Liverpool service their debt with such heavy losses in the transfer market?

Imagine unhappy palyers like SWP, Anelka, Shevcenko, Ballack, lampard, Terry, Ronaldo, berbatov, lennon, RObinson, Dorgba, Torres, nani, Anderson, Kaka, Messi, Eto'o, Castilla, Sergei Ramos, Robinho, Pato et al all leave on a Webster Clause?

If we get Nasri with Vela, then I don't mind losing Hleb. For as gopd as he is with the ball, he still didn't produced too many goals.

Nasri has similar ball skills to hleb but may get more goals

In my mind hleb is no longer an arsenal player. will be a pleseant surprise if he stays though

If I could ask one thing, its that we give real hleb and 5-million and take robinho. thats la la land thinking though.

Thats a good team AF.

Would definitely choose a new dm over diaby and denilson. dont think they're ready for that role. Diaby should be cesc's replacement.

Wenger please be prepared for any injury.

There is no way would Nasri, who is higly rated, a full international and already plays regular first team football, will be happy to sit on the bench for us and be behind Cesc in the pecking order.

AW is gonna play out wide if we get him, which p.isses me off.

We need players with width on the wings not ACMs, FFS!

no point on speculatin about formation

if u ask me i wouldnt have thought we lacked a creative player but wenger said we do and he KNOWS what he is doing.

we don't know how good Nasri will be for Arsenal but think of it this way, he is younger than Cesc

I thought Wenger said he will take Helb to court if Helb invokes the Webster clause. And that will drag Helb's transfer for too long which Helb and his agent will want to avoid. So I am pretty sure Wenger will get more than 5m pounds from the likes of Inter or Real.

I reckon it`s best to let him go for about half of what we payed for him as, reading between the PR lines, he`s had enough of our club and the EPL.

Re: NASRI HAVING MEDICAL NOW - Exclusive
Posted by: Padre Pio (IP Logged)

I agree Weedz.
5 is beter than 3 and the Webster clause will remain unused.
What is the point of a protracted battle?

It will be hard to push beyond 5 as Hleb can threten to fight it, as can Wenge, but then its a Mexican stand off.

Stewart Robson on Arsenal TV said tonigh that Nasri's normal position is in the hole behind one main striker - much like Zidane played, will this mean a change of formation for Arsenal or a change of role for Nasri

Re: NASRI HAVING MEDICAL NOW - Exclusive
Posted by: Merlion96 (IP Logged)
Date: 12/07/2008 04:29

Not necessarily so.

Just a straight swop as what we did in August/Septemeebr 2007 where Hleb was given a free role, just behind Van Persie.

...............Almunia

...Sagna....Kolo....Gallas....Clichy

...EBoue...Fabregas...Flamini.Diaby...Rosicky/Walcott/vela

.............Hleb..Nasri

................Van Persie

it si actually more or less a 4-4-1-1 easily covnerting to 4-4-2 or 4-1-4-1 with Diaby and Nasri being the key replacement.

And witht eh growing influence of Fabregas with his improving defensive steel...it may very well be Germany 4-2-3-1..

..................ALmunia

...Sagna.....Kolo........Gallas....Clichy

.........Eboue.............Diaby

...Nasri.........Fabregas.......Rosicky/Walcott/vela

.................Van Persie

Not too bad as we carry on from what we started on August/September 2007.

Key points are improvement shown by Walcott, Eboue and Diaby; as well as Nasri able to slot in seamlessly and take over from Hleb.

And of coruse, a healthy Van Persie and Rosicky lasting the distance and will not breakdown by October 2008...(Sm6)

Yeah I think Nasri is Hleb's replacement and if Hleb does end up staying then expect Hleb to warm the bench once Nasri adjusts to our style of play and the Prem.
